The ProScout vehicle tracking system is easy to use and can be installed in less that 60 seconds.
Smaller than a video cassette tape and weighing less than two pounds, the magnetic ProScout GPS vehicle tracking device system can be attached to any flat metal surface under the vehicle.
The ProScout will log travel activity for several months on just four AA batteries and has a memory that will record and save up to two and a half week's worth of information.
We installed a built-in motion sensor that will minimize battery drain when the vehicle stops for more than five minutes.
Installation of the Proscout vehicle tracking system simply requires the user to magnetically attach the device underneath the vehicle. An industrial strength magnetic mount is already attached to the ProScout for easy installation - no nuts, bolts or any additional hardware is necessary.
It literally takes 10 seconds to install and remove the ProScout.
The motion detect circuit shuts the unit down when the vehicle is stationary for longer than 5 minutes. This saves battery power and long computer view times. The ProScout is waterproof making under vehicle installations no problem at all. How does the ProScout work?
We include a CD-ROM with mapping software. Load this onto any computer.
Attach the Unit under the vehicle you wish to track.
When the vehicle returns and you are ready to see where it has been, take the ProScout off of the vehicle and plug it into your computer with the included serial port cable.
The included mapping software will recall the vehicle's travel activity. You will be able to follow and view (on the map) the entire travel history of the vehicle. You will see a minute-by-minute replay of everywhere the vehicle has been. 
The mapping is similar to Mapquest and is accurate within 50 feet. You will see addresses, speeds, start and stop times, etc.
For example, if your target vehicle stops at a Holiday Inn, your mapping software won't specifically say "Holiday Inn", but it WILL show you where exactly the vehicle was, including start/stop times, as well as the closest address, accurate within 50 feet.
You WILL be able to prove where they have been, and exactly when they were there! You will receive everything you need, out of the box, to start tracking the vehicle immediately. There is nothing else to purchase or subscription to pay for!
